Q: Why is your
site showing OLD NEWS or NO NEWS?
A: TheTimes-Tribune.com
is updated every single day. If you are seeing an older
version of our site, please click on the reload/refresh button on
your browser. (Also pressing and holding the CTRL key while
clicking on the refresh button)
If that doesn't work, you may need to adjust your internet
settings by deleting your temporary internet files, clearing your
computer's cache or clearing your history. Also, if you subscribe
to America Online, your web browser might not show some parts of
our site. The best solution is to download the latest version of
AOL's software by going to keyword: upgrade. The upgrade is free
and versions are available for Windows and Macintosh. The latest
version should make your entire Internet surfing sessions more
enjoyable due to new features and upgrades in AOL's software.
Also note: AOL caches (or copies) pages to save bandwidth. AOL
caches or stores web pages on their own servers to speed up
internet access for their millions of customers. But when you, the
AOL user, click on a web page, you are unaware that you are
actually seeing a stored page on the AOL server and not a
"live" web page. If this happens, use the Microsoft
Internet Explorer browser instead of the AOL browser. Doing so
would allow you to surf our website independent of the AOL cache.
If you still are having problems, email
us.
