The mission of the University of Scranton Center for Continuing Education is to provide its public and private sector clients with the tools and skills capable of improving and enriching the quality of their personal and /or professional lives.  Its goals are: to provide superior, market responsive, and cost effective life-long learning, educational, professional development, corporate, and service training programs; to deliver its programming on and off campus using traditional and nontraditional delivery systems; to create an avenue by which University students, family members, alumni, and others can be actively linked to the institution to increase awareness of and respect for the University of Scranton as the premier institution of higher  education in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
