The Times family of newspapers, which now reaches from Northeastern Pennsylvania to Texas, had its beginning over a century ago when E.J. Lynett purchased the Scranton Times and transformed it into one of the nation’s most respected daily newspapers. That respect grew not only from the Times’ journalistic excellence but also from its commitment to the communities it served. That commitment has continued through the second, third and now fourth generation of his family. Some of the publications are The Scranton Times, the Tribune, the Sunday Times, Electric City, Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal and Good Times for Seniors. In 1922, the Scranton Times entered the broadcast affiliate with stations in five states. Local stations include WEJL, WBAX, ROCK 107, Oldies 92.
Job opportunities: periodically there are job openings for sales/marketing, customer service, receptionists, reporters, and editors.
