PA Mentor is a national human service organization providing a broad range of alternative, community based care options to diverse populations. Its goal is to provide specialized services to meet the needs of the individuals referred to it.  Primarily, it offers two main programs - family living for mentally challenged individuals and community residential rehabilitation for children/adolescents with mental health diagnoses.  As part of those services, it utilizes in-home therapists, on-staff psychiatrists, service/program coordinators and direct service employees.  Fundamental to the success of its program are ongoing educational offerings, 24 hour on call support and continuous open lines of communication.  Long-tem mentors, who have PA mentor clients living in their homes, receive generous monthly compensation.
